get to know me
A little about me and my story!
I am from ETX! I grew up in the piney woods and I have a huge family. I taught myself how to braid my own hair when I was 8 years old.
I then started practicing braiding on other people and my mom bought me my first mannequin with REAL hair (!!!) on my 10th birthday! I tried any and every braid on that mannequin doll and anyone else that would let me. Any free-time I had was spent on YouTube, watching "Cute Girls Hairstyles."
I was the designated braider on my softball teams and even had a friend in high school that would challenge me with a new hairstyle to try on her for each game. That quickly turned into some of my friends asking if I could put a pretty braid into their hair for a dance coming up. They would ask if I could try trending styles that were popular on Pinterest and I would work my hardest to achieve them. From there, I got asked by many other people that I did and did not know to style their hair for events.
It wasn't until I did my very first wedding that I was sure I could do this forever. Getting to be there for one of the biggest days of a woman's life, feeling the rush of adrenaline kick in to finish all the hair within my allotted time, getting to encourage and compliment and reassure as I went; It was a rush and I was absolutely obsessed with it. From there, I continued investing in my bridal hairstyling education. With academies, products, time, and energy. Since my first wedding, I have styled numerous brides for their wedding day. It is my favorite thing. I want to make every woman feel and look as perfect as they were created.
I want to highlight each individual woman's uniqueness and beauty through their hair. It is such and honor and joy that I get to be even a small part of such a big day and I absolutely love it. I want to help you feel like the very best you.
